I am also very passionate about mental health awareness. Sitting outside drinking an iced chai latte or a matcha lemonade is my favorite way to spend a day. You can often find me buying everything lemon themed that I can find, or talking about the moon. My dream is to own a house on a beach or near the water!

Although I currently live in Central VA, I grew up in Buffalo, NY (Go Bills!). I’ve always liked taking pictures, but in my freshman year of high school I started using an old camera laying around my house. Although I currently live in Central VA, I grew up in Buffalo, NY (Go Bills!). I’ve always liked taking pictures, but in my freshman year of high school I started using an old camera laying around my house. My parents saw how much I loved the camera, and got me one for my 15th birthday. I started taking pictures for the school yearbook, and eventually a friend and her family offered to pay me for photos. I realized I could make a business out of photography, and the idea for Digital Dreams by Elaina was born. I had my first shoot under this name in June 2021 and have grown my business from there! I truly love photography and getting to capture special moments.

I love all types of photography! I currently specialize in portrait photography, but also have experience in sports, nature, and event photography. Check out my portfolio page for examples of my senior, couples, and family portraits.

One of my favorite things is hearing stories about how my parents, grandparents, and other family grew up. Before every session, I ask my clients, “What do you want to remember about your life now in 20-50 years?” Photography allows us another way to preserve these memories and document this time in our lives - to look back on and to sho

Before every session, I ask my clients, “What do you want to remember about your life now in 20-50 years?” Photography allows us another way to preserve these memories and document this time in our lives - to look back on and to show to our descendants. I have often thought “Wow, I am so glad I have a picture of that moment,” or “I wish I had a picture of that moment.” I believe that every photo has a beautiful story behind it, and my goal is to capture that story.
